Smart Cities

In the 21st Century, we have become increasingly reliant on cities with currently just over half the world's population living urban lives and an estimate two-thirds of humanity residing in cities by 2050.  The aim of a 'Smart City' is to employ technology in a manner that enables better social, economic and environmental improvements.

Geography represents the most powerful discipline for understanding the multifaceted interaction between citizens and their cities.  Our modern mapping approach helps to de-mystify how our cities work whilst paving the way to a happier, more sustainable urban life.
